The Smoothie Series
Yes, this is as cool as it sounds. Thanks to my bestfriends Ras & Taj, I am now embarking on my daily smoothie journey. Being out in Cali inspired me to do some things differently with my own life and start forming some cool habits, one being a smoothie a day. I will be making a new staple smoothie every week, using different fruits, vegetables, superfoods, and more. I cannot let a day go by without drinking at least ONE smoothie, thats the challenge!
In order to not be wasteful, I am buying ingredients for a WEEKLY supply.
Since Ras & Taj were my inspiration, each smoothie will be named after Coast Contra's songs.
This Weeks Smoothie:
- A handful of spinach
- One banana
- 1/2 cup of Pineapple
-1 1/2 - 2 cups of Soy or Almond Milk
-1 TBS of Chia Seeds
-1 TBS of Flax Seeds (ground)
Blend all these ingredients and wallah! She's green, mean and clean.
